Switch from Coffee to Green Tea

Friday, April 9th, 2010

I like green tea when it comes to the question, I am biased. I start almost every day with a pot of green tea Gunpowder. Not every day, some days I have a few cups Genmaicha, jasmine tea Kukicha Twig.
I’m in New Orleans and Seattle, has lived in both cities coffee is in the air. The stores have the fans on their roaster that air sucked through the streets. The coffee is excellent in both cities. I love the smell and taste a good cup in the wee hours of the morning. Sometimes, even a bad cup is good. The only problem is my body does not like it, and it lets me know. The days of having a ceiling of Pepto-Bismol with my morning coffee more. What is a Webmaster do? Caffeine is one of my favore molecules. I switched to green tea. I tried many green teas. I liked most of them, but green tea is not coffee.
Green tea is good to compare with Café du Monde coffee and beignets in the French market or in a Starbucks double latte up on Pike Place Market. Gunpowder thank you, I miss New Orleans and Seattle, but I do not miss the coffee.
Green tea powder, it does for me. There are other good tea, but I like Gunpowder, just as I am a good latte. I think everybody, coffee is a green tea to enjoy it and can have a coffee. Gunpowder can not be the tea for you, it may take a little experimentation with tea, but if you go of hope.
The mild level of caffeine in tea helps me to appreciate in the morning, without the extreme ups and downs that I feel with coffee. I do not have the shock of driving to work in the morning, so I do not need the shock of a few cups of coffee. I can take two or three cups of tea, without using cables. More than three cups of strong beer gunpowder and I’ll be out of the yard mowed before we know what happens. So much caffeine and takes only a little.
The thing with gunpowder they need to soak. I have many articles on how to make tea and to say, in general, infuse reading for a few minutes. It works just not working for gunpowder. Gunpowder leaves are rolled into tight balls. The leaves need time to develop and stiff. Put three cups of water in a saucepan, add a few tablespoons of powdered tea, bring water just to near boiling. Reduce heat and let stand. This is not cooking in the microwave and tea is not tea bag. This is the real thing, let the leaves unfurl and steep.
I am not trying to sell you the Gunpowder green tea. Are you a coffee drinker and I want to go try to sell you on finding your own tea. There can be few experiences with you brew your tea. Getting a good strainer pot well and buy a few tees. Buy a small amount, as you can, as many varieties as you can so you can enjoy a couple of you.
Gunpowder can be a bit much, some of the other teas I like when gunpowder is too much to be Genmaicha, Jasmine and Kukicha Twig tea. Jasmine is great with food. Genmaicha Popcorn and rice, it is not brewed strong and is good with a little powder. Kukicha branch is good for calming the stomach, it has a nutty flavor Nice.
Tea has half or one third of the caffeine in coffee. This means you can drink two or three times as much. Most of the caffeine in black tea. Caffeine is stronger the smaller the tea leaves. A higher content of caffeine in tea leaves that are fermented longer. Fresh tea leaves contain about 4% caffeine.
If you do not want caffeine, decaffeinated green tea has caffeine. Not all of the caffeine in the decaffeination process can be the most food. There are debates about how much of the benefits lost by the decaffeination process. Some say the benefits are ruined health.
Green tea is better for teeth. Tea stains teeth, but nowhere as bad as coffee. Tea contains fluoride, so your teeth are healthier, but not as white. My dentist says that the rinse water after drinking tea, baking soda based toothpaste and also helps to clean your teeth often. My dentist would say, know that
